Answer

You can convert files (clips) to a portable device using RealPlayer 11, such as mp3. File convert goes one way, from RealPlayer to the portable device. (RealPlayer does not allow transferring files from a portable device to RealPlayer.)

To convert clips from RealPlayer 11to your mp3:

1. In RealPlayer, click the Burn/Transfer tab.

2. Select the device you want to add clips to from the Current Burner/Device drop-down list.

3. In the My Library sidebar, browse to and select individual or multiple clips that you want to convert to your device.

4. Click Add Selected to Device.

- For most devices, this adds the clips to a list of files waiting to be transferred. You can see this list in the device area on the right. Click the Copy Files button when you are ready to convert the clips to your device.

- If you have a device that automatically synchronizes, such as a Creative NOMAD Jukebox Zen Xtra, you will not have a Copy Files button. Files for these devices are transferred instantly when Add Selected to Device is clicked.

Once the clips are converted, you can play them from your mp3 when the device is not attached to your computer.

Note:

To change your device transfer options in the desktop RealPlayer, click the Change Options or Configure Device button, located in the bottom left corner of the Burn/Transfer view (your button and options will vary depending on your device.) Click OK when you are finished.
