Starting with getting your pictures from your camera to your PC, this instruction can be also referred to as importing your photos.

To add digital photos to Vista, you should

:

1. Open Windows Live Photo Gallery by clicking the Start button, clicking All Programs, and then clicking

Windows Live Photo Gallery.

2. Connect your camera to the computer and turn the camera on.

3. On the File menu, click Import from a camera or scanner.

4. In the Scanners and Cameras list, select your camera or device.

5. Now, you can select how you would like to organize your photos. If you want to review the photos and

videos on your camera, click Review, organize, and group items to import. Grouping your photos and videos according to the time they were taken should make them easier to ind later, and you can adjust the size of the groups Photo Gallery creates.

If you are in a hurry or want to organize your photos and videos later, just click Import all new items now.

The Adjust groups tool groups your photos by time.

6. Click Import. Photo Gallery will point out where your new photos and videos have been imported to so you can easily ind them.
