How to compress files with Pocket RAR?

Software you need: Pocket RAR
Select the files and folders which you would like to compress, then press the Add button. Pocket RAR will display the archiving dialog.
First:Choose a name for the archive which will contain the selected files.
The archive format: Choose RAR if you need better compression, stronger encryption or multivolume archives. Choose ZIP if you need faster compression speed and lower memory requirements.
The compression method: Good and BEST methods provide better and slower compression. Also in the RAR format they may require more memory.
The Volume size option: it is available only for RAR format. If you wish to split a created archive to several files, enter the size of the single parts here. By default it is entered in bytes. But if you add a lowercase letter k at the end of the volume size, the entered value will be considered as kilobytes (multiplied by 1024). Use an uppercase K to denote thousand of bytes (multiply by 1000). m means megabytes and M - millions of bytes. It is also possible to select the volume size from the list associated with this item.
Check the Delete files option if you wish to remove files after archiving.
The Solid archive : it is available only for RAR format as well. Solid archives usually have higher compression ratio, especially if you compress a lot of small similar files, but this method has its drawbacks. When you update a solid archive, it takes more memory and much more time than a usual archive. Also it requires more time to access individual files in the solid archive.
Press the Password button and enter a password if you wish to encrypt the files being archived. RAR encryption is much stronger than ZIP. If you click the box by the Encrypt file names option in the password dialog, RAR archives will store both file data and file names encrypted, so even names of archived files will be invisible without a password.
After you have set all required options, press the OK button to start archiving.
