How To Sync/Back up Outlook .PST Files?

Software you need: GoodSync



GoodSync has an option to send e-mail with synchronization session results, once the sync session has been completed.

1) Start by opening GoodSync.

2) Click Browse on the left side and select the file Outlook.pst which contains Outlook data. This file can be found in the following Windows location:



* XP: C:Documents and SettingsLocal SettingsApplication DataMicrosoftOutlook
* Vista: C:UsersAppDataLocalMicrosoftOutlook

3) Click Browse on the right side, selecting where you would like to sync or back up to.

*Note: by default you are performing a sync, if you want to back up instead, first select Job > Options > 1- Way Left to Right, and then continue with step 3)

4) Start the sync/backup process by clicking the Analyze button.

5) Click the Sync button to complete your backup.
