WinRAR and Rar for Linux versions 2.60 and above are registered with a new, very secure, AV registration seal. The main advantage of this new authenticity verification code is a significant increase in the strength of the registration code and thus it is use as a means of identification of the origin of a sealed archive.
Unfortunately this also means that the old registration key files will not operate with the latest versions of Rar-Linux and WinRAR and thus all key files must be changed.
1.Write to support@win-rar.com and provide as much data about your old registration as you have.
2.Send the date you registered, your name, company, address, the string appearing in your registration (av-code) and your old registration key.
3.Perhaps need some information about your order too. Did you pay with a credit card or to a registration site?
*It will always be helpful to send your old e-mail or mail address, if it has changed.
Now try this at once !
