How to update Windows Media Player?

Software you need: Windows Media Player
If you specifies Windows Media Player to check for updates.
Only do this:
1.Click start,then click control pane.
2.Follow your contro panel view, do one operation of the following:
* click system, click self-motion update option.
* click performance and maintenance, clicksystem ,and then click self-motion update option.
3.Click the required option.
Make sure self-motion update can work on your computer.

If you don't, try this:
1.Supported, codec is downloaded automatically when you try to play a file that requires it.
2. Connected to the Internet for this option to work.
If you want the Player to prompt you before downloading a new supported codec, clear this check box.
